Osage Nation Meat Processing Plant

Butcher House Meats, a 19,000-square-foot meat processing facility, was constructed in Hominy, Oklahoma to address food insecurity for the Osage people caused by the food system breakdown during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A state- and federally inspected facility that is equipped to process cattle, bison, hogs, and seasonal deer. In addition to meat processing, customers can purchase meat products at the retail counter, which offers beef, pork, and bison as they become available. Butcher House Meats collaborates with the Osage Nation Ranch to ensure that Osage beef and bison are available for purchase at the retail counter. The facility is open to the public.
