Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation Office Complex

The Housing Authority of the Cherokee Nation’s goal is to provide for the overall well-being of Cherokee citizens through job creation in construction and related fields. From housing rehabilitation to new construction, HACN creates job possibilities while enhancing the financial and environmental sustainability of the properties within its organization. Through the many programs available with HACN, they provide reliable housing opportunities for Cherokee citizens. 

Their current office complex in Tahlequah houses property managers, inspectors, clerks, IT department, the financial department, and many other integral employees. 

• Blue River is designing multiple renovations and new buildings across the campus including the following:

• • new, 11,883 square-foot office and rehabilitation building

• • renovation of an existing office building and new addition totaling 10,000 square-feet

• • new 5,155 square-foot executive office building

• • new 8,000 square-foot warehouse. 

Site improvements include a detention pond, storm drainage system, walking trails, covered parking, and outdoor break areas.
