Cherokee Nation Kenwood Woody Hair Community Building & Head Start Program

 

Working with the Cherokee Nation, the Woody Hair Community Center in Kenwood, Oklahoma is a new 33,100 square foot facility housing a youth head start program, elder dinning and wellness center. Included will be an 11,000 square foot multi-purpose gymnasium equipped to host high school basketball and volleyball games/tournaments. The gym can also seat 400 people in banquet style seating for community events. 

The Head Start Program will include two classrooms serving up to 40 children, an outdoor play area, administrative spaces for nursing, a testing/screening room, along with a full commercial kitchen.
